Moving to Malta

     They came, they saw, they shipped....

 

 

It's over and it went well.   My cat is still here and not on the way to Malta early via an enclosed crate.  I hope the moving guys in  Malta are as good as Charlie and Jay were.

 

I have a little domestic problem that has developed.   I can tell my cheap bastard landlord is not going to return my security deposit.  That's because he doesn't have it to return; he failed to deposit it in an interest-bearing account.  He can't produce the paperwork, showing me the account (which he was supposed to do within 30 days of me moving in four years ago).

 

So I've told him that I'm using the security deposit in lieu of the rent. And so... he's evicting me.
